2nd Day Of An Eco-Friendly Christmas
Gift Wrapping
This year why don't you reuse gift bags, boxes, tissue paper and even ribbon kept from last year. If you did not save any make sure this year you do.
In the UK we will use around 227,000 miles of wrapping paper each year!! Most of this ends up in the rubbish.
Why not try using brown paper to wrap gifts? You can tie everything together with a string and even possibly use a pine tree sprig to finish it off. This is what they use to do decades ago and it is actually a good way to help the environment. If you use Amazon for deliveries, the brown paper they use inside the box is brilliant to use for this. After you have used this paper, you can save it for the following year or put it in the recycling bin.
If you are going to buy paper, try and get something that you can recycle. As anything that is made with foil and glitter cannot be recycled.
