UPDATE - #EcoLockdown Challenge - Week 3

Nature, Oceans and Outdoor learning

ChallengeSpend an hour counting the birds you see in your garden, from your window or somewhere local to your home.

This week's challenge is The Big Schools' Birdwatch and reminds us to appreciate nature around us and to think about the importance of protecting it.

Me and my brother went to the local Nature Reserve to look at what birds we could spot. We saw a big brown owl, a flock of white Swans, a couple of crows, pigeons, a Buzzard and the last bird was a Sparrowhawk.

It was lots of fun trying to find these birds and research what type of birds they were.

We had another mini eco-warrior join in with the challenge this week. Muhammed also went bird watching with his family. He spotted 3 stonechat birds, 4 blackbirds, lots of pigeons both feral / wood and Canadian geese. That’s so amazing!! We are loving the binoculars and the bird spotting book! Well done!!
