30 Days Wild
From 1st June - 30th June 2021 The Wildlife Trust start the UK's biggest nature challenge!
30 Days Wild is The Wildlife Trusts' annual nature challenge where we do one 'wild' thing a day every day throughout June. Your daily random acts of wildness can be anything you like, for example, litter-picking, birdwatching or puddle-splashing.
Below are Some more wild suggestions that you can choose to do or think of other things that you may enjoy!
- Walk barefoot through the grass
- Hug a tree
- Visit a zoo
- Visit a farm
- Go on a nature watch in your local park
- Identify a new bug or insect
- Watch the clouds
- Do some star gazing and identify some constellations
- Eat a meal outdoors
- Eat something you’ve grown
- Grow something
- Watch a wild webcam
- Go pond dipping
- Roll down a big hill
- Visit a nature reserve
- Make a nature crown
- Go for a walk in nature
- Go for a walk at dusk – what different animals can you find?
- Watch any of the documentaries / shows on David Attenborough / Steve Backshall.
- Go on a scavenger hunt
- Set up a moth trap
- Visit a river, lake or reservoir
- Go to the beach
- Listening to birdsong
- Exercising outdoors
- Eating or drinking outdoors
- Identifying wildflowers
- Planting wildflower seeds
- Going on a bug hunt
- Hugging or admiring a tree
- Making a wildlife home (birdbox, bee hotel)
- Sketching, drawing or painting nature
The challenge is you do one wild thing a day throughout the month of June! That’s 30 simple, fun and exciting random acts of Wildness.

Upload pictures of yourself, family and friends taking part in this challenge; with the help of an adult if your under 18 years old to #30DaysWild on the social media sites. You can also tag me into the pictures #ecoshaan to see what you've been up to!
My momager (mom) will be posting pictures on my blog and our social media accounts of us as a family trying this challenge! Those of you that have my mom's contact details, send us pictures of you doing the challenges this month to be featured on the blog (with an adults permission). Alternatively you can contact us through the 'contact page' on the blog.
I have also informed my school and friends about 30 Days Wild Challenge and asked them to join in.
