Veganuary

 

What is Veganuary? Veganuary is done yearly, where in January it encourages people to become Vegan for a month. Eating less meat helps the environment greatly as it reduces your carbon footprint. As well as having many health benefits. 


Veganism is a type of vegetarian diet that excludes meat, eggs, fish and dairy products. You can take part in this challenge and some people have become vegan for life. You can buy Quorn and Linda McCartney products to replace meat from all supermarkets. Not only will you be helping the environment these products are also very yummy!  A lot of supermarkets are now doing their own plant based food, so we all have a lot of choice!

I have been encouraging my school friends to take part. Many of them have never tried substitute meat products and they are telling me how much they are enjoying them!
